Private Airport Transfer
Pre-booking a private minibus to/from the Phuket and
Krabi airports is the easiest and most direct route
to Mango House. Leave the arrangements and driving to
us and you’ll arrive fresh and safe. The trip
takes approximately 1.5 - 2.5 hours to/from Krabi airport
and the fee includes the two car ferry crossings. Phuket
airport takes 3.5 - 4.5 hours.

Bus, Minivan, Ferries
From Phuket buses and minivans leave daily to/from Krabi
(then onto Ko Lanta) and can be booked at any travel
agent once you're in Krabi or Phuket.
One early morning passenger ferry goes daily between
Phuket and Ko Lanta, with a quick stop on Phi Phi Island,
from November 15 to May 1. The Krabi passenger ferry
(a 30 minutes taxi ride from the Krabi airport to Krabi
Town) also runs twice daily to/from Ko Lanta during
this high season period.
Once you arrive by public minibus or ferry in
Ban Saladan (the main town and entry point to the island)
you'll need to hire a motorbike taxi to get you to Lanta
Old Town. The price should be 500 THB one way depending
on the size of your group.

Rent
a Car
The roads in Krabi and on Koh Lanta are very good and
driving in Thailand is easy for a cautious confident
driver. Rentals, depending on make and model, range
in cost between 1,500 – 3,000 THB per day at Krabi
and Phuket Airports. If you can make it to mango House
we also offer an inexpensive 1,200 THB a day car rental
for getting around the island. The ferries between the
mainland and Koh Lanta Yai run from 6am till 10pm. It
takes about an hour to get to the first ferry from the
Krabi International Airport. Then another hour for the
two ferries to get you to Lanta Yai. Then a final 20
minutes to drive the length of the island to get to
Mango House. (Please ask for directions.)
