Boat trip

How its going?

Here, at Mango House, we offer our guests trip on a traditional Thai Long Tail Boat. The trip can take place every day depending on weather and conditions at sea. Safety is our priority. We would appreciate reservations ideally 2 days in advance, but this is not a condition. We will always be happy to help you when the reservation is made at the last minute and try our best to make the trip happen.

The trip would start directly from the Mango House Terrace during high tide (time is changing, mostly between 9 am - 11 am). After departure from Mango House, we sail around the Island of Ko Bu Bu into the mangrove forest where we visit the ruins of an old fish farm (great opportunity for beautiful photos) and then stop right in the woods where you can see a great number of monkeys, birds and lizards.

We'll visit the islands

. From there, we continue towards the northeast, around Ko Lanta Noi where we stop for a swim and rest at the beautiful Ko Kam Island, which we will have for ourselves.

After this stop, we head towards the island of Ko Pi (Skull Island - it looks from one angle like a skull) where it is possible to climb to beautiful viewpoint below the peak and explore few beautiful caves. Possibility of swimming at this stop too.

Possibility of swimming at this stop too. From there we would sail towards east side of Ko Talabeng Island with its up to 380 m high rock walls, pass through the narrow channel between the islands, and then ( if you guys interested ) make another stop at the southern part of Ko Talabeng where we can explore another cave.

Swimming also possible here. From Ko Talabeng, we sail on the deserted beach of Ko Kam, where we have lunch. This will be our last stop before return to Mango House, Old Town approximately between 4 and 5 PM.
